Bobby was relinquished to Sonoma County Animal Control in December, 2007, the companion to Argus (above). He, too, survived 15 years of constant confinement in a 12-by-16 pen, dining on a mixture of stale bread, rotting produce and occasional hay. Bobby is an off-track Thoroughbred and was once the mount of a Pony Club youngster. He is blind in one eye from an untreated eye condition. Bobby now lives a happy life of retirement with a Sonoma County family. |
