Destiny

Destiny is an 18-year-old Anglo-Arab mare that was seized by Sonoma County Animal Control in November, 2008, from a hoarder who fed her only stale bread and lettuce, and never trimmed her feet. A former children's riding horse, Destiny has years of training and is a gentle and steady girl. Adopted in December, 2008 by a Sebastopol woman, Destiny lives in a beautiful barn surrounded by people who groom and love her daily. She is one lucky girl!

UPDATE, AUGUST 2009:  "She is progressing beautifully.  Every day brings new challenges, accomplishments, sometimes set-backs, a deeper connection AND always a smile with unexplainable joy!  I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with Destiny."
~Leiona, Destiny's rider
