Chestnut QH Mare with Blaze
Amber is a super flashy chestnut Quarter Horse, about 16 years old, and she is very personable and loving. She’s taken on all of her care like a pro- she soaks up affection like a sponge and just wants to cuddle. She has a slight lameness on her left front which may improve with shoes. She is familiar with tack but gets a bit nervous on the lunge line. It is clear that she has some training, albeit inconsistent. We feel that she would enjoy life best as a companion horse/ pasture pal but if someone would like to explore the option of getting her back under saddle, there may be a possibility for that if the management and training are right.

UPDATE June 7, 2018: Amber is doing very well and we are happy to report that she is through her rehabilitation. She has been powerfloated, dewormed, fully vaccinated, and has had her feet trimmed. She is familiar with tack, although she is a bit nervous while being lunged with tack on. She is a sweet and kind horse and is trying very hard to do what is asked. She has a calm demeanor and level head when she is being handled and groomed.
